Royal Coat to install two Prati inspection systems

Royal Coat, Prati’s Indian representatives have announced the forthcoming installations of two Prati inspection systems on the last day of Labelexpo India 2014. Avery Dennison’s Knowledge Centre (Bengaluru) has acquired Sun Classic TE330 full servo slitter-rewinder. The second inspection system, Prati’s Saturn BiDi will be installed at Sel Jegat who are based out of Sivakasi, this will be the first Saturn BiDi in India.

Sunil Talpade of Royal Coat said, “This Labelexpo has been very productive for us. There has been genuine interest in our products and we have been able to find a buyer for Prati’s Sun Classic. With this slitter-rewinder I believe that Avery’s Knowledge Centre has the complete range of finishing equipments that are available in the market.”

The Prati Sun TE330 slitter-rewinder detects missing labels, colour discrepancies along with waste on a wide range of pressure-sensitive labels, unsupported paper, cardboard and aluminium. With a inkjet print-head, it cann overprint variable data such as barcodes and product codes along with special inks.

Saturn Bidi, which will be making its way to Sivakasi is also slitter-rewinder ideal for in-mould label production has a defect detection camera and an attached die-cutting station.

Mumbai-based Royal Coat is Indian representatives of Prati (slitter-rewinder), IST Metz (UV Systems), Zecher (anilox rollers), Kisscut (flexible dies) and Polywest (sleeve systems) among others.
