Gobind K Panjabi, director of Rukson Packaging, said, “We started our business in 1996 using a two-colour offset press. Since then we have been supplying mono cartons to customers in different sectors. Over the years, we keep expanding our customer base, product range, and machine portfolio.”
He added, “There are certain challenges in the industry when it comes to maintaining quality in prints and productivity to fulfil all new demands we constantly receive from our customers and end users. In this respect, we need to regularly enhance our capability with constant adoptions of newer machines or technologies, in which the Komori Lithrone GL 640+C UV is the latest in our facility.”
He continued, “Our facility is fully equipped with arrays of pre-press, press, and post-press machines, but this new and our second Komori press stands out among others in terms of its features and capacities. The first was a Komori LS 32 which we installed around a decade ago. So far so good, we have been impressed and smitten by the Komori technology alongside the cost-effectiveness of the two machines we have owned till date.”
On choosing the second Komori press, Panjabi said, “We have chosen the Komori Lithrone GL 640+C UV, especially for metPET cartons. However, this press is fully packed with advanced features and capacities for various other packaging applications.”
In addition to cartons, Rukson Packaging also deals in others such as labels, leaflets, catch covers, calendars, etc. for hosts of customers dotted in sectors like pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and food industries.
According to Panjabi, the quality of prints from Komori Lithrone GL 640+C UV is ideally equivalent to the industry’s leading German presses. “Certainly, print quality which we get from this second KOMORI press is mind-blowing. In addition to quality, this press is highly user-friendly and cost-effective when we compare it to other presses in its class,” he said.
He added, “Komori Lithrone GL 640+C UV is technically a far better and more productive press than many other presses now used by many in the industry. For example, its registration is really fast and it’s fully packed with many such advancements. Even the team of service engineers from KOMORI India helped and trained our operators so efficiently to know, operate, and get the best out of the press. In future, our growth story will always be with Komori.
