Sahil Gupta honoured with National Star Award 2014

Sahil Gupta, son of printer and print consultant, Anil Gupta, was recently awarded a Special National Star Award 2014 for excellence in printing at a function held at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi on 20 September, 2014.

The award was presented to Gupta by Beatrice Klose, Sec General, Intergraf & World Print Communication Forum, Brussels.

“The award reflects his interest and passion towards this profession right from his childhood,” said Anil, who himself has won honours at the state and the national levels.

Anil added, "After completing his graduation from Fine Arts College, Pune, and his training in the from one of the biggest presses in India, Thomson Press (India Today Group), Sahil kept himself acquianted with the innovations in printing by visiting printing exhibitions all over India. He recently visited Printech Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and further has plans to go Germany for further technical specialisation."

Sahil was also one of the nominees for PrintWeek India Student of Year Award 2013, which honours the elite students who are aspiring print professionals and have excelled in the course of their academics.
