Sai Ratna produces commercial work, binding and other offset services. As the founder of the firm, J Krishna Rao said, "We handle projects from both tier I and tier II cities of states in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra." He added, "Some of these are tender based book jobs and others are commercial work."

One reason Rao opted for the six-clamp perfect binder is, its uncompromised quality as compared to competitors; as well as quick execution and best price.

Rao highlighted a top job that the organisation has produced which was enabled by the Bindwel kit. He said, "This was a religious book which had a very tight schedule for production and we needed to match the logistics departure." The number of books was 4,500 copies with 350 pages plus hardbound books. Rao said, "All of this was produced in 84 hours right from start to the end and the book reached the reputed shrine on time."

He pointed out how the group produced 1.5 lakh books for a reputed NEET coaching centre from Maharashtra.

Rao added, "Thanks to the Bindwel, Sai Ratna is able to execute quality jobs which adhere to our clients needs." Which is how the group boasts of important customers like Telangana government, Indian Post, State Bank of India, etc.

The Bindwel@2500 at Sai Ratna is a six-clamp perfect binding machine. The post-press kit is credited with leading the revival of the book publishing segment by introducing newer book binding equipment for the mid-sized book printers and trade binders. Thanks to Bindwel there is a huge opportunity for book printers who can invest in world class binding systems.

Rao concurs with this view. He said, "It's one of our best decisions to consider Bindwel as our binding partner not just because of the quality of books it produces precisely but also the on-ground service team who support us by investing that extra-mile in addressing the minor concerns which are raised by us."

The managing director of Impel Services, P Sajith said, "Today, India is one of the largest consumers of books. And the consumption is spread over a multitude of languages. It is a wonderful experience to observe in the book factories and post-press departments, how book printers spread over different segments, trade, children's books and education - are meeting the demand."
