“Sam Gulve has had a very positive influence on EFI’s culture, productivity and innovation, and his well-rounded background in sales, engineering, R&D and operations make him an ideal choice to be managing director of EFI India. “We are glad to have such a capable leader ascend to his new role at one of EFI’s most important global facilities” said Stephen Green, vice president of sales, Asia Pacific Region, EFI.

Gulve joined EFI in 2013 as vice president of engineering for the EFI India Development Centre in Bengaluru. In that role, he was responsible for many of the engineering activities used to advance EFI’s MIS/ERP, web-to-print and Fiery digital print workflow products.

“I am extremely excited and honoured to be given this opportunity and our ongoing initiatives such as the advisory council will help us reach this (India) vibrant market better” said Gulve, under whose leadership, EFI’s India Development Centre completed award-winning software product upgrades including the workflow solution for EFI productivity suite.

“One of my key challenges would be to create greater awareness that EFI is beyond Fiery and ensure our software solution products help our clients not only achieve the obvious cost savings but also accrue top line benefits” he added.

The company recently launched EFI productivity suite (EPS) at their annual users conference Connect which aims to integrate all EFI’s software solutions through a unified workflow.
