The printers' community paid rich and heartfelt tributes at the loss of the great personality who was well respected in the field, not only for his jolly nature, but also for his untiring devotion to social causes and causes related to the print industry.
Born on 29 July, 1961, Gandhi has left behind his wife Anita and two sons, 25-year-old Varun and 21-year-old Rabhav. Gandhi got into packaging with Shiva Packers in 1991. He was not only doing well in business, but was also a respected figure in social circles. He was a friend to everybody who knew him and he was always ready to serve others. He was committed to the cause of the print industry and was the backbone of the Offset Printers’ Association (OPA).
Kamal Chopra of OPA said, “He was the kindest person I have ever known. His association with OPA has been long and fruitful. He believed in public systems and independent thinking. He did all that was in his capacity to support and pursue OPA’s advancement. His style of working was to bring people together.”
