SaS workshop to discuss inks

The eighth in the series of Seekho aur Samjho (SaS) workshops, which is slated for 12 September at Government Institute of Printing Technology, Mumbai, will focus on inks. The problem and solution will be discussed during the session.

During the three-hour session, subject expert, Anup Syal, BU head-sheetfed and blending centre at Siegwerk will discuss in detail the about offset inks and troubleshooting various issues related to it.
 
The session, which will be delivered in Hindi, will provide an insight on the offset ink manufacturing and the basics of raw materials used, the manufacturing process and the various  test related to ink properties. 
 
The principle of offset and the ink drying process plus the causes and solutions for ink related problems will be discussed.
 
Syal will share key tips on better handling of ink related problem faced in pressroom and how to control wastages. 
 
SaS is an initiative by the BMPA, PrintWeek India, Government Institute of Printing Technology, Mumbai and SIES Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai.
 
Faheem Agboatwala, president, BMPA, has requested all the print CEOs in and around Mumbai to register their staff members for this session.
