Scholle IPN acquires Bossar
Bag-in-box and spouted pouch packaging specialist Scholle IPN has completed the acquisition of horizontal form-fill-seal packaging equipment manufacturer Bossar.

This new partnership is set to leverage the combined capabilities of both businesses to provide vertically integrated and sustainable offerings for the global flexible packaging market.
Ross Bushnell, president and CEO of Scholle IPN, said, "This is an important step in our continued evolution towards becoming a truly indispensable provider of total packaging solutions to our customers around the world."
He added, "While both companies have worked together for some time, this formal partnership not only strengthens our global equipment footprint but also enables a stronger collaboration within our teams around the world. Both companies boast their presence in India with Bossar Packaging’s facility in Chakan, Maharashtra, and Scholle IPN’s unit in Palghar. As per the deal, Bossar will retain its brand name and will continue to utilise its operational headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, and its manufacturing facility Chakan.

The combined business, now, has operational units across Europe, Russia, China, India, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Canada and the United States.
