Screen Print India opens

The 14th edition of Screen Print India (SPI) 2018, a tradeshow for screen printing industry, opened its gate on 20 April at the Bombay Exhibition Centre which will last until 22 April 2018.

The three-day show will comprise of over 80 exhibitors from India as well as global exhibitors from 14 countries. 
 
Skyscreen will have a live demo of personalised t-shirt printing with Stahls’ CAD-Cut and CAD-Colour heat transfer vinyl film. 
 
Photokina will demonstrate the water transfer printing technology known as Hydrographics. It allows materials like plastics and metals to be printed by submerging them inside water.
 
SG Edge will showcase web flexo machine, roll to roll screen printing machine, flatbed die-cutting for labels and letterpress and intermittent letterpress for lamitubes and labels printing machine.
 
EPTA India’s stall will have water-based inks, plastisol PVC free inks, UV solvent-based inks, sublimation and photosensitive inks which cater to the signage and packaging segment.
 
Along with the exhibition, SPI 2018 is going to conduct technical seminars and workshops for the visitors.
 
SPI also announced the winners of the 49 Awards in 33 categories. Major gold winners included Efex Colour Screens, Krishna Creations, Creative Graphics, Shanti Graphics, Archer Art Gallery, Marvel Graphic Studio; Cutek Circuits India; M-Tech Innovations. Santi Arts. SPI 2018 will host a gala night to award the winners.
