Screen Print shines in Vietnam

The inaugural edition of Screen Print Vietnam exhibition was held from July 30 to August 1, 2015 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC). The event provided a platform that enabled exhibitors and visitors to tap the market’s inherent growth potential. Around 1616 visitors from more than 14 countries of ASEAN region attended the show.

The exhibition has around 45 plus stalls with companies from across globe highlighting various aspects of the screen printing and textile printing industry. Out of the 45 exhibitors, there were 9 Indian exhibitors. Blue Coat India, Dev Raj Rangwala, Fujifilm Sericol India, Grafica Flextronica, Impress apparels, Keetronics India, Photokina Chemicals, Screen Art and Graphics, Sunlan Chemicals and Varsha Transprint to name a few. 
 
Devang Sheth, director, Aditya Expositions, said, “This three-day event being held from July 30 to August 1, 2015, is a logical extension of the Screen Print India show, which has consistently been Asia’s leading exhibition.”  Sheth added, “While the exhibition aims to highlight new developments and showcase new offerings to a market that is poised for substantial growth in future.”
 
Vietnam's economy and printing industry have been on an upward trend. From printing labels to packaging materials and a wide range of printing services, the industry is well settled and has made a reputation for itself.  The printing and packaging industry is expected to grow 7% for the whole year of 2015 and 10-12% next year at Vietnam.  At the same time, flexo printing and digital technology are also gaining in popularity. 
 
Nguyen Thi Lac Huyen, vice chairman general secretary, Vietnam Paint - Printing Ink Association, stated that, “This exhibition has been helpful for trade promotion activities, promote business  co-operation, brand advertisement, technologies exchange for domestic and the leading enterprises in area and the world in screen, textile and digital printing sectors.”
 
The visitor profile comprised leading industrial screen printers, technicians, consultants, professionals, entrepreneurs, products or service providers to end-users who are employing screen printing, textile printing and digital printing as a substantial part of their process.
 
Screen Print Vietnam was organised by Aditya Exposition, with Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising (VINEXAD) being the local partner. Media partners of the event were Screen Print India Magazine and Yes Media.
