Screentex India begins on 24 August
The third edition of Screentex India is scheduled to take place at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan in Kolkata, from 24-26 August 2024. The event will focus on showcasing printing developments in screen, digital, textile, offset, printed electronics, UV and sublimation printing technology, with participation from both Indian and international suppliers.

This year's event will feature 150 exhibitors, including companies such as Konica Minolta, Epson, Mimaki, Canon, Colors, Art Line, Jain Silk Screen Center, Nilesh Enterprises, DCC, Kishore Brothers, and Print Graphics, among others.
Organised by the Screen Printers Association of India (SPAI), a concurrent seminar titled Print Ki Paathshala will take place on 25 August. Domain experts will cover topics, including ERP for print industry enhancement by Parmeshwar Patidar, profitable printing tactics by Manu Choudhury, and the future of the print industry by Tushar Dhote.
The event is organised by SJ Expositions, in partnership with SPAI. Jignesh Lapasiya, secretary of SPAI said, “Value-addition is seen as a major trend and a necessity to stay ahead of the competition by offering new innovations to customers. New entrants can start their ventures with updated technology, giving them a strong kick-start to their business.”
The Indian screen printing industry has seen significant growth over the past five decades, expanding its applications across various sectors, including textiles, ceramics, industrial printing, advertising, and digital printing. The industry currently includes an estimated 1,00,000 to 1,25,000 printers of various sizes.
