Sergusa unveils inspection system for packaging segment

Vincent Swamy, director at Sergusa Solutions, said, “The system is ideal for carton, cigarette carton, currency inspection. It can inspect any surface, be it, paper, plastic or metal.”

The system is equipped with a high definition line scan camera which has technology from Chromasens.

Swamy said, “The key feature of the system is that it can detect a defect of 100 microns at a speed of 150 metres per minute. It has been developed using the technology of camera from other products measuring 100 microns.”

Meanwhile, Sergusa Solutions has supplied an inspection system to The Times of India, the English daily in Mumbai which is in beta testing.
