Shako Flexipack bags two Indiastar Awards

Indiastar award was started in the year 1972 to promote and encourage excellence in packaging design, innovation and sustainability once every two years. This year saw 507 entries which is highest in number till date. The jury, which consisted of eminent personalities from packaging fraternity assessed and evaluated the entries as per the guidelines and parameters laid down by IIP.

The coffee bean bag valve in the food package category has been designed so that premium coffee bean can be immediately packaged after being roasted with the help of a de-gassing valve. The gas from the beam is removed with the help of one way valve without outside air and moisture getting into the package.

Target Malo Multipack which bagged the award under the category of consumer package is a replacement to conventional cartons and polybags used for packaging of men’s undergarments. It is printed in pearl-white finish white ink which gives a unique look to the package. It also incorporates a zipper to facilitate consumer to feel the product before buying.
