Today, Navneet has two major businesses, content and stationery.
Content contributes around 55% to its Rs 980-odd crore business, of which three percent is digital.

Under the mentorship of Amarchandbhai Gala, Navneet became a dominant player in the field of publishing with more than 5,000 titles in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu and other Indian and foreign languages.

Recently, the Navneet Group moved into the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) textbook segment. At that time, Amarchandbhai Gala had told PrintWeek India, “We believe 98% of the student population follows the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) curriculum. So Navneet has always been focusing there. No doubt, CBSE as a medium of instruction is large. Now, we have started concentrating on textbooks to be used by the CBSE schools.”

May Amarchandbhai Gala’s soul rest in peace.
