Shree Ganesh installs Gallus at Navi Mumbai plant

Shree Ganesh Graphics, the Mumbai-based label printing firm has installed a brand-new Gallus EM 280 narrow web flexo press at its unit in Navi Mumbai near Mumbai.

This is the first Gallus flexo press at the label printing firm.

Sanjay Purandare, managing director at Shree Ganesh Graphics, said, “The press investment arrives on the back of a ‘dramatic increase in business’ while enabling us to increase both capacity and flexibility.”

Purandare added, “Quality is also a crucial factor and we consider Gallus to be leading the label-printing market in this.”

Its newest press, Gallus EM 280 is capable of producing decorative high quality self adhesive labels. It combines eight printing unit and processes that include screen and hot and cold foil stamping.

According to Purandare, the immediate next step for the 26-year old company is to get into the specialised markets.

Shree Ganesh Graphics’s future plans include expansion on the converting and the decoration of labels in the next two years. 

“These ambitious business and investment strategies will keep Shree Ganesh Graphics at the forefront in Indian label industry,” said Purandare.

The family-run business specialises in pressure sensitive labels on clear, metalised and laminated foils, screen printing, foil blocking, embossing processes, security labels and pharmaceutical labels.
