Bhaskar Parekh, director, Shree Salespack, said, “As a part of expansion process, we invested in a second-hand six-colour Heidelberg SM 74 press last year and to support the increased production, we installed our first Maxima in July 2013. Satisfied with the performance of the machine, we commissioned second Maxima in January 2014.”

With Maxima, the company is able to automate the manual operation of die-cutting, which was accomplished with seven manual die-cutters. According to Parekh, Maxima die-cuts 5,000 sph, which is five times more than what they were achieving earlier.

Established in 1998, Shree Salespack, which specialises in pharmaceutical cartons, was a proprietor firm. In 2013, it formed a private limited company as it expanded its operations.

Besides Heidelberg and Maximas, the company also houses a single-colour Heldelberg Sorm and host of post-press kit such as UV coating machine and lamination machines among others.

Operating from 5,000 sq/ft area, Shree Salespack employs over 40 people.
