SIES GST students triumph at P-Pack 2019
The Department of Printing and Packaging Technology, SIES Graduate School of Technology, hosted the fifth edition of P-Pack on 28 September 2019 at the SIES Graduate School of Technology college at Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

The national level technical quiz on plastics in packaging is a part of the SIES's annual inter-collegiate technical festival, Cognition. The quiz was organised by the newly elected student members of IPI Student Chapter, who also, created a website, ppack.siesgst.ac.in to facilitate the entry of participants.
A total of fifteen teams (two members in each team) from across the country participated in the event. Amongst which, Sriganesh Sankar and Abdul Basit Sayyed from SIES Graduate School of Technology, bagged the highest honours, a prize money of Rs 20,000.
Followed by, Loganathan and Muhilvannan from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai, who were awarded Rs 15,000, and Vaibhav and Divyesh of the Government Polytechnic, Valsad, who were presented Rs 10,000.
The dignitaries present at the event included Rajesh Doshi, vice president of IPI, Mumbai, and Ainain Shahidi, director of SIES School Of Packaging, Mumbai.
The Printing and Packaging Technology Department used the platform to unveil its annual magazine, Adviteeya.
This edition of Adviteeya covers topics related to anti-microbial packaging, bioplastics, consumer behaviour, marketing strategies, and pharmaceutical packaging, amongst other articles.
