Sign India 2024 concludes on a high note

Sign India 2024, organised by Chennai-based Business Live, was held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 9 to 11 August. Spread across halls 3 and 4, the show witnessed the hustle and bustle of manufacturers, importers, traders, distributors, converters and end-users in the sign industry.

The signage industry is booming in India. It also comprises a steady segment of the GDP. As the number of MNCs in India increases, the branding and marketing of these companies is what makes them distinguishable. 

Signage and LED displays are all a part of the advertising industry worth more than USD 3.5-million. Industry statistics indicate an annual growth trajectory for the signage and POP sector, with a projection to be over 13% by 2027. This underscores the resilience and potential for further innovation within the industry.

The exhibition showcased the latest technologies, innovations and advancements in the fields of printing, media, signage and fabrication technology. 

Market trends currently indicate a shift towards sustainable solutions, and digital signings whilst interactive displays and augmented reality (AR) signage are strengthening bonds through personalisation. 

With the advent of sustainable printing technologies, the role of printers’ has been reinforced in society. There is now a growing demand for eco-friendly solutions with printers using eco-solvents, UV-based, or water-based inks which are greener alternatives. 

Spanning across two halls, with an estimated turnout of 20,000 visitors and 200 exhibitors, Sign India Delhi boasted of an impressive line-up. Notable industry players such as Colorjet, Caldron, FutureJet, Kiran Infotech, Comet Ren Technologies and Vision Jet Ink, among others. The latest inventions were showcased to industry professionals and enthusiasts alike. 

The three-day event witnessed a significant turnout with visitors thronging the booths and engaging in discussions about the latest technologies, trends and developments in the industry.

The next exhibition will be held in Kerala on 22-24 November 2024.
