Out of the 63,819 nominations received this year, SMI Coated Products and Kohli Industries made to the list of winners.
The India SME Forum is a not-for-profit initiative, which was formed to encourage entrepreneurship and support innovative, globally competitive, SMEs in India.
Every year top 100 SMEs are chosen and awarded via a rigorous process on the basis of both financial and non-financial indicators.
“This award is a tribute to the spirit of the Indian entrepreneur. Despite all the odds and challenges the Indian entrepreneur just marches on, contributing to the growth and well being of the nation. SMI grew from a fledging organisation into a strong entity with the support and encouragement of large number of label printers in the industry. Our foresight to tap the export market has helped us to boost our growth and gain recognition across the many countries we export to,” added Mehta.
