As a part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, Sona Commercial has rebranded itself as Sona Papers.
The country’s leading fine paper merchant deals in various international brands and has enjoyed long associations with paper mills across the world.
Sona has been growing over the years and spreading its wings beyond the shores of the country. After its successful forays into Middle East, the company recently started its operations in the US. Thus, the decision to this rebrand holds a lot of strategic importance to the company and is a part of long-term goals.
Sanjay Suneja, managing director of the company said, “Sona Papers brings world’s finest paper to the Indian market. We have always listened to the market and have been prompt in our response. This rebranding exercise highlights our commitment to our clients and our mission to be relevant to clients needs. In the future, we will continue to expand the market through quality products.”
“Being into fine paper business, ‘papers’ is more relevant than ‘commercial’ and despite having ‘commercial’ in name our clients used to call us ‘Sona Papers’. Hence, in order to be more relevant to what our customers call us, we decided to change the name,” he added.
Under its new name, Sona Papers promises to make the customer experience even better. Being the pioneer of fine paper industry of India, there are many firsts to Sona, from being the first multisite FSC-certified paper merchant to first SAP-enabled paper merchant.
The company was established in 1966, with the vision to be at the forefront of every creative revolution.
