Sona Papers strengthens its presence in North India
New Delhi-based specialty papers specialist, Sona Papers has appointed Albero Papers in Chandigarh as its channel partner, further expanding its footprints in the northern region.

The five-decade-old Sona’s partnership with Albero will enable the company to serve the market of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and other nearby areas.
Sanjay Suneja, managing director at Sona Papers, announced the latest development which will extend Sona’s presence in the Northern region further. “The new branch will fulfil and cater fine paper market in this key region of the country. Through this development, we will get a step closer to graphic and print fraternity of this region,” he said.
Sona Papers portfolio of products comprises of fine papers that travel through metallic, texture, whites, colour and many more and are very popular amongst graphic designers, corporate, start-ups and art houses.
According to Raju Suneja, Director Marketing, Sona, while the demand for the fine papers in India is on the rise, the northern part of the country, in particular, is showing positive growth. “We took this opportunity to create our direct presence and capture a new market place,” he said, adding, "We are excited about this development and believe that this will help our customers in this area".
