Sonal Xerox buys Gujarat’s first Canon ImagePress V1000

The first installation of a Canon ImagePress V1000 in Gujarat took place at Ahmedabad’s Sonal Xerox, a one-stop digital print shop in the city.

Sonal Xerox has been a reprographic shop engaging in photocopying and printing jobs since its inception in 1985. “Over the years, we upgraded our machine portfolio and expanded our branches,” says Mukesh Surani, director of Sonal Xerox. 

The company has 10 branches in different parts of Ahmedabad. 

He added, “Canon machines are common in each of our branches. All of them are running productively. We have a longstanding and trustful relationship with Canon India over the years, so we never stop investing in the brand’s newer and upgraded models, such as the Canon ImagePress V1000, which is the latest, most efficient, and a game-changing machine we have ever owned till date.” 

Surani said the company is proud to be the first owner of Canon ImagePress V1000 in Gujarat. “With this efficient and capable digital production press, we are propelling our production volume, applications, and quality in prints,” he said. 

The current activities of Sonal Xerox primarily involve variable data printing, packaging graphics, photos, etc, for customers from key sectors like pharmaceutical, banking, and retail. 

According to Surani, the overall advancement, versatility, and productivity of the Canon ImagePress V1000 have made the company capable of offering its customers best quality prints in different sizes and textures. He adds the company is now capable of producing even posters using the new Canon digital workhorse, at the speed of 100 A4-ppm, supporting media weighing from 52- to 400-gsm for producing graphics in resolution of 2400x2400-dpi.
