PrintPack 2025: Sprint-Bind Yatra to showcase collaborative book production

The Sprint-Bind Yatra, an initiative by Bengaluru-based Bindwel Technologies, will be a key highlight at PrintPack 2025, scheduled to take place from 1-5 February at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. Launching in Hall 9, the Yatra aims to build a collaborative ecosystem for short-run digital book production, where Bindwel’s kit Sprint-Bind, making its debut in India with the PrintPack 2025 show, will play a key role.

Sprint-Bind is a smart binding solution tailored to meet the needs of publishers, digital print providers, and boutique book manufacturers. Through the Yatra, Bindwel aims to showcase how the machine integrates seamlessly with other technologies and workflows to deliver efficient, sustainable, and versatile solutions for the printing and publishing industry.

“The Sprint-Bind Yatra is not just about introducing a machine; it is about demonstrating its value within a broader ecosystem,” said Pallippuram Sajith, managing director at Bindwel Technologies. “By collaborating with partners and offering live demonstrations, we want to show how Sprint-Bind can address the practical challenges that print buyers and publishers face.”

As part of the yatra, guided tours will lead visitors through partner booths to explore complementary technologies, including advanced inkjet printing systems from Monotech-Pressline, Insight Communications, Technova, The Printers House (TPH Orient) and HP India. Live workflows at the Bindwel stand will highlight key features of the Sprint-Bind machine, such as QR code-driven automation, synchronised cover and book block production, and adaptability for short-run workflows. Henkel Adhesives will also showcase their energy-efficient adhesive solutions, which integrate seamlessly with Sprint-Bind’s processes.

The Yatra also includes the Publisher’s Corner, a dedicated space at the Bindwel stand for consultations, discussions, and live sample showcases. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with experts, explore cost-saving strategies, and gain insights into market trends.

“Our goal is to provide hands-on experience that illustrates the practical applications of Sprint-Bind in transforming book production,” Sajith added. “The Yatra allows attendees to see how collaboration across the supply chain can lead to smarter, faster, and more sustainable outcomes.”
