SRM University triumphs at Henkel Innovation Challenge 6
Harsh Vardhan Pande and Aditya Yadav of Sri Ramaswamy Memorial (SRM) University, Tamil Nadu won the national finals of Henkel Innovation Challenge 6. The boys will represent India at the international finals scheduled to be held in Shanghai on 18-20 March, 2013.

The theme of the national finals held on 8 February at Vashi, Mumbai, was 'Triple the value you create. Create a sustainable world'.
Jeremy Hunter, country president, Henkel India said, “Henkel strongly believes in facilitating aspiring students to bring out their creativity and channelise it in the right direction. Our theme this year aligns with the global requirement for a sustainable change compelling students to think beyond.”
The winning concept of illuminating adhesive proposed by Pande and Yadav was supported by sample product giving a practical feel. The competition saw participation from ten teams of renowned colleges comprising of IIM, IIT, and NMIMS to name a few. These ten teams were shortlisted from more than 800 registrations.
According to Henkel, the aim of the contest is to develop a concept for a product or technology for the year 2050. The global finals of sixth edition of Henkel Innovation Challenge will witness participation from 27 countries.
