SS Paper & Box picks up AMS LED UV at the APL stall

SS Paper & Box will add the LED UV lamp on a pre-owned five-colour with online coater Heidelberg SM74 press. The length of the lamp is 30-inch. The installation will take place by the end of this month.

Sushil Jain of SS Paper & Box said, “An investment in LED UV is a big jump for a printer like us. I feel it is the need of the hour. More than 50% of our customers demand innovation and beautification of print. The demand from our customers pushed us to make the investment.”

Established in 1999, the packaging printing company works for readymade garments industry. “Garments, especially readymade ones, need to be packed in more appealing and attractive packaging. Thus, print enhancement is a must,” Jain added.

AMS is the USA-based manufacturer of LED lamps and UV equipment.

CP Paul of APL Machinery said, “Print enhancement is in demand in all segments of print and LED is one of the best ways to meet the increasing demand of print beautification.”

This is the eighth deal of the AMS LED UV lamp in India.    

“Our previous seven installations prove that though initially LED UV is expensive, the results make both printers and end-users happy, thus leading to easy recovering ROI,” Paul added.

The existing AMS customers in India include Shree Maruthi Printers in Coimbatore; Infinity Advertising Services in Faridabad; AB Print Pack in Bawana; SS Packaging in Dilshad Garden; VV Offset in Nagpur and one customer is Bengaluru and another in Cochin.
