Krunal C Jasani, director at Shree Ji Corporation, said, “The Xerox Docucolor 8080 is an excellent. The system has been printing on substrate from 100 to 300gsm with ease. It produces good quality especially the vibrant colours which are difficult to produce. In last three months since its installation, we have produced more than 20,000 impressions. I can tell you my customers are happy with the quality. The machine has a capacity to produce more than one and half lakh impressions per month and I am sure this will definitely benefit our production.”
Jasani added, “We planned to have our setup in Vasai because there was no digital printing firm which could cater to short-run cut-sheet printing jobs and we saw an opportunity. Currently we are catering to all local manufacturers and few elite clients.”
SJC has also added a Epson SureColor SC30670, 64-inch wide-format printing press to cater to the indoor and outdoor signage segment.
Jasani said, “We have installed Epson’s wide-format press because we saw an opportunity in the signage market. In fact we did printing for Samsung’s Galaxy S5 campaign. This job has boosted our confidence and now we are catering to few multinationals like Disney.”
SJC plans to start an online portal where the clients can directly log in and place the print orders and upgrade its print facility by adding an iGen4.
Jasani concluded, “Our next two aims are, one to start online portal were the clients can submit the print jobs. This will avoid their travel time and second to upgrade our printing technology from Xerox 8080 to iGen4.”
