According to Mona Desai, sales manager, Stovec Industries, Stovec’s aim at exhibiting at the Labelexpo is to promote its RSI systems. “We have installed 25 RSI units since its introduction in 2005,” she said, adding that according to a market study, there are nearly 200 label converters who do not have an inline screen printing unit. “We want to target these converters,” she said.

Recently, the company has sold three RSI units in Mumbai and Delhi.

Apart from this, the company also informed the visitors about its new DSI UV inkjet press through videos, samples and brochures. DSI, a modular 10 colour machine, is driven with an Esko Software with four standard Xaar print heads, while additional six can be added to enable options like digital white, digital primer, and an extended colour gamut through the colours orange and violet, which the company claims can cover 90% of Pantone gamut. The machine has a maximum speed of 700 sq/m per hour at a resolution of 1000 dpi on variety of substrates.
