05 Oct 2015 | By PrintWeek India
Among the applicants, Harsha A’s outstanding academic record, along with his projects and extra-curricular activities during the course of his studies at PVG’s College of Engineering and Technology, Pune, sets him apart. He has consistently been a class topper and the recipient of scholarships. Additionally, for his research project on the “Effect of electrostatic force assist on defect reduction in shrink films”, he has received a scholarship.
Apart from academics, lean manufacturing is a subject that fascinates him. He holds a Yellow Belt in Six Sigma and wants to bag the Black Belt in future. He has presented various technical presentations, of which “The effect of ink interfacial tension of substrate’s surface and printability in rotogravure printing” is a published paper.
All of this makes Harsha A a worthy winner of the PrintWeek India Student of the Year Award.
