PrintPack will see Suba-manufactured offline stripping and blanking machine, Osblam. In addition, the company will show a high-speed automatic flute laminator machine, carton erecting machine, and a Suba manufactured UV system.
Osblam was launched in India in 2017 as an imported product, and in late 2019 as Suba’s own manufactured product. Running live at the show, the machine blanks die-cut cartons and removes window holes, if present.
Suba has installed 80 machines in India and overseas. Some of the Indian users of Osblam are: Amarnath Enterprises, Art O Print, HBD Packaging, Pattabi Enterprises, Pragati Pack, Rave Scan, and Temple Packaging among others.

Among the features, V Vaidyalingam (Vaidy), director at Suba Solutions counts as notable are: double head blanking system, precision positioning system, window hole remover, robotic pick-up arms and conveyor, waste removal and collection.
Vaidy added, "Manual stripping and blanking is the only place where a carton is handled. It is tough both on the labour and the cartons. Till recently there was no viable automation solution. Now our Osblam has made it easy for almost any packaging company to own it and almost entirely eliminate unhygienic manual stripping."
The Osblam can handle a maximum sheet size of 960x1080mm, max carton size of 468x350mm and minimum carton size of 30x30mm. The output per hour is: up to 20 strokes per min.
