Subam Digital buys AccurioShine

Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu-based Subam Digital Press has recently invested in a Konica Minolta AccurioShine 3600.

The company, which specialises in pre-press, press (including offset and digital production engines), and post-press services, said Konica Minolta provides best-in-class colour reproduction, reliability and consistency.

Palani. managing director, Subam Digital Press, said, “Konica Minolta is best suited for bringing new innovations to the digital print industry. The competition and the demand for new products from print buyers have motivated us to invest in this equipment. We believe this investment will be the feather in our cap, boosting our existing business and attracting many new customers with its premium offerings.”

Besides the Accurio Shine 3600, the company has three Konica Minolta engines and one Xerox PP engine at its production site and branches, along with all the modern finishing equipment, including high-end laminators and die-cutters.

Palani said under one roof, all works are done with quality, speed, and accuracy, as per customer requirements. “We provide the best quality work at a reasonable price,” he added. 

Currently, the company’s total print volume is 100,000 prints per day and the volume is growing. With the new investment, Subam has started printing 400 to 600 sheets of print embellishment per day.

Palani said, the print market is growing at a good pace and all its branches are constantly growing. “We believe, the adoption of new technologies and innovations is the key mantra for the development. Konica Minolta has helped us in upgrading our existing setup with the latest technologies, such as Konica Minolta AS3600,” he said.

He added, “The market for short-run volumes for the embellishment is on the rise, and we want to be a pioneer in our market to cater to these embellishment demands.”
