Sunstar to introduce cylinder presses in India
Sunstar Graphics has entered into a partnership with ESC of Germany that will see the Mumbai-based company introduce a range of high-speed ESC cylinder presses in India. According to Sunstar, ESC has more than 60 years of experience in the screen printing sector, manufacturing stop and swing cylinder press machines.

Ajit Lalwani, managing director at Sunstart, said, “ECS machines are widely used for printing of decals, membranes, auto dials, industrial labels, transfers and many other applications. Offset printers use cylinder presses for finishing of packaging material and for special effects like UV, spot varnishes, glitters, spot colors etc on offset prints.”
The ESC machines, available in two sizes – 20x30inch and 30x40-inch, can run at speeds of up to 3,000i/h and is fitted with an automatic feed and UV dryer and stacker.
ESC presses can print on a variety of materials from paper and board to vinyls, polycarbonate and polyester material and is offered as standard systems, modular systems as well as individual solutions to meet specific requirement. “The fully automatic cylinder presses offer maximum user confort, high efficiency and speed with extreme presision,” said Lalwani, adding, “It’s an absolute useful kit for packagers for adding value to their products.”
