Swifts to celebrate Diamond Jubilee
Swifts Offsets is in its sixtieth year of operations. The Nashik-based manufacturer will commemorate this milestone with the launch of VDP mini machine on 12 April at Shree Krishna Banquet Hall, Nashik.

1963 Swifts shifted to its independent premises at Marathe Udyog Bhavan at Prabhadevi, the foundation stone of its journey. Swifts was an OEM supplier for Premier Automobiles, TELCO. 1972 Swifts manufactured its first offset printing machine, the Swifts 150, with an aim to provide an alternative to traditional letterpress for the Indian printing industry. 1979 For the launch of the Swifts 150, the Government of India honoured the company with President's Import Substitution Award in 1979. 1985 Swifts set up a manufacturing unit at Nashik, 180 kms from Mumbai. 1995 Swifts joined hands with the American printing brand of the time, AM Multigraphics USA. This alliance proved fruitful and initiated the joint production of the Multilith 1250 machines in India. 2000 Swifts entered into an alliance with Rotaprint UK. The same year it obtained the ISO-9001-2008 certification. 2004 Swifts launched its flagship offset machine, the Swifts Advent. 2006 After a spell of over 34 years, Swifts re-opened its ancillary division and became an OEM supplier for Goss International, USA. 2012 Swifts launched the versatile Advent CBO, aimed at enabling the customers to print carry bags. 2015 With the advent of digital printing, Swifts launched its revolutionary variable data printing machines range. These machines offer excellent solutions for numbering and barcoding jobs. |
