Talent Computers upgrades with Canon
When K Bhaskar Rao founded Talent Computers in 2005 in Hyderabad, his ambition was to offer quality graphic prints and end-products that standout amid the ordinaries. For this, he keeps investing in the modern, advanced, and capable machines and equipment, among them the latest one being a Canon ImagePress V700, a compact and capable digital colour production system from Canon India.

“We installed the ImagePress V700 in November last year. Since the day we pushed the start button of this digital production press, we keep gaining tremendous improvements in terms of productivity, print quality, and media flexibility in digital printing,” Rao said, adding, “This groundbreaking Canon production press has enabled our printing and production team to sail well in creating best graphic prints which we have ever produced till date.”
He added, “When we talk about our current product portfolio, it includes almost everything about what our customers want. The portfolio consists of an entire gamut of commercial end-products such as cards of all kinds whether they are of weddings, events, corporate gatherings, seasons as well as other products like brochures, catalogues, inserts, fliers, so on and so forth.”
According to Rao, what it takes to print and produce everything unique and innovative at Talent Computers nowadays is the prowess of the fleet of advanced machines including the new ImagePress V700. He added, “This new Canon digital colour production system in our facility is the key to maintaining our overall quality digital printing tasks. At the end of the day, we thrive well with the ImagePress V700 in terms of stability, image quality, and ease of operation.”
Perfectly designed and engineered for outsized performance in a compact footprint, ImagePress V700 operates at the speed of 71-ppm, adhering to varieties of thin and thick media ranging from 52- up to 350-gsm. It’s compatible with diverse stocks comprising covers, envelopes, synthetics, and 1,300-mm sheets, produced in resolution of 2,400x2,400-dpi using the R-VCSEL imaging technology.
Another added feature of the ImagePress V700, now running efficiently and productively at Talent Computers, is its PS Kit — an option to use the press as a UFR II/PCL/PS system. “This compact Canon machine, packed fully with advanced and added features, is our dexterity of digital printing. We are planning to add more such capable machines to our portfolio with the magnification of our printing and production team at the same time,” Rao concluded.
