And, the mantra is “going green, going digital and going innovative,” said Deepak Chawla, head – inkjet CTP solutions at TechNova.

The manufacturer stall showcases green process-free and chem-free thermal and violet plates. With an aim to create awareness about the effects of untreated water on printing, the company has set up a lab to provide water analysis free of cost.

Milind Kale, manager business development, TechNova, said, “Water forms a major component of fountain solution and influences ink transfer process and emulsification. We test water’s alkalinity, chloride contents and hardness to check its suitability for printing and suggest the treatments required. We also suggest the test procedures and measuring instruments.”

Adding to its green portfolio, TechNova has launched CylFresh. It’s a solution to keep impression cylinder free of ink deposits. The CylFresh comes with new lamitube packaging. “We have developed a new package for this product instead of HDPE tubs or bottles. The new user friendly package can be squeezed to apply and thus the application remains clean,” said Kale.

Other things at TechNova’s stand are Agfa Apogee workflow, KM 1100, Duplo 646, SmartJet LP 112 inkjet label press.
