TechNova has incorporated the rights to sell and distribute Epson’s SurePress L-4033A, a production printing inkjet press for digital short run labels.
The SurePress L-4033A is built on Epson’s MicroPiezo inkjet technology to create output with smooth gradations and incredible colour quality. The six-colour (cyan, magenta, yellow, black, orange and green) press uses water-based ink set to produce a range of colour on a variety of substrates.
Breaking the news, exclusively to PrintWeek India, S M Ramprasad, deputy general manager for Epson India, said, “It has never been easier to go digital — introducing Epson’s new SurePress L-4033A, a breakthrough, short-run digital label press offered with pre-and post-press options that can be tailored to meet various needs and budgets.”
Driving the technology in SurePress are the RIP and colour management tools from ISI Graphics and X-Rite. The ISI Graphics Max Print provides workflow controls while the i1Pro bundle allows for creation of custom ICC profiles as per selected substrates. Although Surepress is integrated with ISI Maxpro, it is open to accept other workflow formats.
Ramprasad added, “SurePress will amaze Indian customers with its quality and significantly differentiate it from competition. The SurePress short-run job can be successfully printed on industry standard analogue press.”
Announcing the agreement, Swarnangka of TechNova, said that with SurePress, the company will take its first step towards offering digital printing solutions to the Indian printing industry. “Our digital journey begins,” concluded Swarnangka.
