TechNova Memjet tie-up sees launch of SmartJet label kit
TechNova has inked a strategic relationship with San Diego-based digital printhead manufacturer Memjet to manufacture printing solutions for label segment.

At Pamex 2013, TechNova has launched a digital label press, SmartJet LP112 powered with Memjet printheads at Pamex. The low foot print machine is suitable for print-on-demand label solutions, personalisation requirements and self adhesive applications such as labels for PET bottles.
Pranav Parikh, chairman and managing director, TechNova, said, 2013“Technology and innovation have been the basic crux of TechNova. Our aim has been to help printers to visualise their images of tomorrow. While looking at digital label segment, Memjet was the first and the last choice for us. Besides technical strengths, Memjet has excellent business model as they basically look for OEMs, they supply inkjet heads of required configurations which can be applied to various applications depending on the kind of end products we are looking at,” added Parikh.
