TechNova Pune seminar focuses on PoliJet
It’s time for change said TechNova's representative, from analog to its iCtP plate, at a seminar which was held on 17 July, 2015 in Pune.

There were 50 participants present for the Pune seminar. Most of the participants were print CEOs from Pune and few guests from Mumbai. The delegates, who were present during the seminar, comprised of book printers and publishers. The sessions were interactive and the evening saw users presenting case studies and spoke about the technology and highlighted its benefits.
During the seminar, the TechNova team showcased a live demonstration of the PoliJet System along with an Epson Stylus imaging device to showcase how to image a polyester inkjet plate. To-date TechNova has installed over 600 iCtPs and iCtFs installations which includes systems for newspapers, book publishing, screen printing, plus keyline positives in packaging and flexo plate making segment.
Of these, there are 170 PoliJet installations in the book printing and publishing segment all over India.
The speaker list included Anand Latkar from Comp Print Kalpana, Girish Joshi from Padmarekha Arts and Nandprasad Barve from Shree Om Printers and Ravi Joshi, President, Pune Printers Association.
Rahul Shah of Tek Max Publication who is one of the users of PoliJet plate in Pune, stated, “With the increasing cost of negative film and the availability of film becoming more and more stringent, it’s time to change for publishers from analogue system to digital workflow which is PoliJet System.
To-date there are 120 iCtP installations in Maharashtra. The major iCTP clusters in Maharashtra are Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli and Aurangabad.
According to a TechNova spokesman, "PoliJet is the most affordable inkjet CTP solution designed exclusively for book publisher and printers." Plus it has benefits such as low cost during the usage. This is particularly handy for the computer-to-plate process which eliminates expensive films and paste-up jobs, in-house printing and it is suited for line, text and spot colour applications.
TechNova offers a cost-effective, easy-to-use method of producing plates. iCTP solutions have benefited the customers and it has prepared them to embark on the CTP journey.
