“Kudos is a service to our customers, whereby we concentrate on savings in terms of right product usage, enhanced productivity by sharing of experience and knowledge, safety and health awareness for shopfloor initiatives towards green revolution. A small kit is also given to the group present for Kudos which consists of an eye gear, hand gloves, thermometer, alco meter and an eye glass,” said Ganeshan Iyer of TechNova.
“It is an outcome of Technical Plant Audit (TPA) conducted in a press, whereby an observation is done at the press starting from pre-press to post press and a report is submitted stating the observations and recommendations. Based upon the TPA finding, a standardisation programme which is a process of installing standardised procedure in all printing processes based upon TPA findings and recommendation is implemented and is concluded with a Kudos seminar,” concluded Iyer.
The programme highlights the assessment of nine key best practices at a press which include - cleaning the processor, press start-up, fount dosing, plate cleaning, plate preservation, press maintenance, storage of violet CTP plates, storage of thermal CTP plates and blanket care.
In addition, TechNova will also host the seminars through this year at other presses in Bengaluru which include Ravi Graphics; Print Point; National Printing Press; Rastrothana Mudranalaya; Ramya Reprographics; Omkar Arts; Global Print & Packaging; Geetanjali Graphics; S G Offset, Bangalore; Suraj Graphics and Star of Mysore in Mysore.
