TechNova sells first SmartJet to Plus Creations
Plus Creations based in Rai, Haryana has bought SmartJet LP112 inkjet label press from TechNova. This is the first installation of SmartJet, which was commercially launched by the company at the first day of the show.

The LP112 is a digital inkjet press built on the revolutionary memjet waterfall technology. According to TechNova, it is ideally suited for high-speed high-res print-on-demand labels on various media types with capabilities to change the content on the fly.
Plus Creations caters to pharmaceutical industry in form of cartons, labels, visual aids, and other promotional items. With Smartjet, the company plans to target pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry with new applications.
The managing director, Arvind Manchanda, who holds a M Pharm degree, said, “With Smartjet, we will specialised applications like clinical trials, which includes the development of custom short-run print products with variable data and prototyping labels.”
The company already provides RFID labels for clinical trials. “The SmartJet will help us personalise these RFID labels and also open up avenues to use personalised QR code labels for similar applications,” added Manchanda.
The 22-year old company specialises in multiple applications such as mono cartons, corrugated cartons, roll-to-roll stickers, pharma foil, pouches, composite containers and lamitubes.
