Technovaa Plastic Industries opts for Flexibiz ERP

Ahmedabad-based producer and exporter of packaging films and paper cores, Technovaa Plastic Industries has recently invested in the Flexibiz ERP software.

Abhishek Kankariya, director, Technovaa Plastic Industries, said, “We needed software for better process control, improved production efficiency, reduced wastage and machine downtime, end-to-end coverage on a single platform, and hands-on reporting to make quick decisions. All these, with a user-friendly interface. The Flexibiz has proven to satisfy all of our requirements and so, we decided to go with Flexibiz.”

Kankariya also appreciated the support from the Flexibiz team during the pandemic.

He added, “As a group, we always focus on getting the best system in place and upgrade our technologies much ahead of the need. This helps us to improve our internal systems and also our customer service.”

Kankariya said the ERP software has helped the company have a better control of the internal process as it offers end-to-end coverage and keeps a record for every activity. “With the software, we have been able to plan our maintenance schedules in advance, reduce downtimes, standardise procedures for various internal processes, better cost control, keep track of production progress, input costs, and resolve complaints from customers in real time,” he said. “The solution can handle sales order processing, production planning, job scheduling, stores, purchase, QC, stage-wise production order tracking, dispatch, CAPA, plant maintenance and accounting. It has definitely helped us improve our performance.”

Established in 2012, Technovaa manufactures CPP films, stretch films, and paper cores in a state-of-the-art, ISO 9001:2018-certified facility, using advanced European machinery.

Technovaa is a part of the Kankriya Group, Chennai, which is into packaging products for more than 20 years. The company’s manufacturing facility is in Ahmedabad and the corporate office is in Chennai. The company manufacturing capacity includes 1,000 MT CPP films; 600-MT metallised films, 700 tonnes stretch films; and 400 MT paper core.

It sells its products pan-India and exports to the Middle East and EU.

Kankariya said the Indian packaging market is seeing a steady growth with massive transformations in recyclability, sustainability, and EPR, Etc. “We keep doing rapid developments to provide solutions to end-users which are in line with these transformations. Also, after the Covid-19 pandemic, the world is seeing India as a very reliable supplier and we are ready and fully equipped to match the demands,” he added.
