Tegra Digital in Hyderabad targets photo market with HP Indigo 5500
Tegra Digital, the Hyderabad-based digital printing firm has expanded its product offering by investment in the HP Indigo 5500 digital production press.

The Indigo 5500 from its period of installation has produced more than 6,20,598 impressions.
The digital printing firm had hosted an event to showcase the new Indigo to the ace photographers in Andhra Pradesh.
V Ramnath, executive chairman at Tegra Digital, said, “We had invited photographers to showcase the live demonstration of HP’s technology for photo printing. Today, we are producing more than 20 photo books every day apart from the regular digital printing jobs.”
On being asked why he opted for the machine, Ramnath says: “We compared a lot of machines available in the market. Apart from the features of the machine, what attracted our attention was the steadiness and stability of the machine”
Tegra Digital has launched its range photo product under the brand name Mesmerise which consists of photobook, photoframes, photoselect, photocalendars and photoflips.
Tegra Digital’s facility is spread over an area of 6,000 sq/feet with demarcated area for pre-media, press and post-press operations and employs 18 personnel.
The facility also houses a series of lamination, UV, spot UV, digital foil stamping and screen printing equipment.
