S C Bansal, director at Bansal Electrostat, said, “We were exploring opportunities in Panipat and found it to be a low-volume market where we are doing 60,000 A3 colour prints per month. It’s the textile industry which is driving these run lengths for us.”

Established in 1986, the firm is a family business run by S C Bansal and his sons Daksh and Udit with its head office at Nehru Place and a print facility at Gurgaon.

Ricoh Pro C751 is the sixth digital press in Bansal’s arsenal of printing presses.

“We are among the few digital printers who have four digital brands (Xerox, Konica Minolta, Canon and Ricoh) on a single shopfloor. To grab the opportunities in Panipat, we’ll go for a bigger engine after one year,” said Bansal. The Panipat facility is run by a team of four in a 3,600 sq/ft plot. The firm achieved a turnover of Rs four-cr in the last financial year.
