Tharstern introduces sales estimation MIS
Lancashire, UK-based management information systems (MIS) developer Tharstern has launched Estimating, a sales estimation software especially for narrow-web printers.

Speaking to PrintWeek India, Lee Ward, sales director, Tharstern, said, “Our intelligent print estimating tool gives you confidence that you are producing the best possible quotes based on different production routes, processes and margins. The module supports all the major disciplines of print, including offset, digital, large format, continuous wide-format and flexo.”
He confirmed that the company has received 40 solid leads at Labelexpo Brussels 2015.
According to Ward, the software has four especial features – easy to use, compare production costs, quickly create quotes and select best margins.
Ward said Estimating can drive sales of a company by increasing money per customer and targeting new sales. It can increase automation and reduce manual errors and increase efficiencies by speeding up label production processes.
Except Estimating, Tharstern has also developed CRM to manage interactions with prospects and customers, Job Management to keep track of all aspects of a print job, Purchasing to manage supply chain and keep production workflow on track; Production to empower planners with full control of the production capabilities; Fulfilment to speed up order processing and dispatch workflow; Inventory to have the right balance of stock in the right place, at the right time; Financials to achieve financial control with seamless accounts integration; and Business Intelligence to understand and manger the business better.
