Third edition of NEPT 2019 concludes in Guwahati
The third edition of the North East Print Tech (NEPT) 2019 exhibition was organised by Printing Technologist Consortium of Northeast at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre in Guwahati.

The four-day exhibition from 7 September to 10 September 2019 was attended by a five-member delegation from Bangladesh Printing Association, plus members of the print industry, and print media across the Northeast states, besides printers from Goa, Maharashtra and Kolkata.
The organisers shared with PrintWeek India that the highlight of the show was two workshops on skill development. This was hosted for the members of Print Media Workers Association.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Keshab Mahanta, the science and technology minister of Assam. The Bangladesh assistant high commissioner Dr Shah Mehmood Tanvir Mansur spoke about the potential of trade and commerce between the Northeast and Bangladesh. He also expressed his cooperation with the proposed 'Act East' policy of the Government of India.
The show saw the presence of digital print majors such as Xerox, Konica Minolta, Riso, Epson and TechNova. In the post-press segment there was Welbound Worldwide while TechNova showcased their CTCP system, which has a solid installation base among medium newspaper houses in Assam. Other companies included Sneha Graphics, Autoprint and Sahil Graphics.
On 10 September, Dr Abhijit Sarma, the director at the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship released the souvenir of NEPT 2019, which was edited by RK Uniyal, former principal of Maharashtra Institute of Printing Technology, Pune.
