Three Comexi customers bag FlexoStars awards
Three French customers who print using Comexi’s flexographic machines — Palamy – BRJ group; RKW Castelletta and Constantia Jeanne d’Arc — were honoured with FlexoStars Awards at The Pavillon Dauphine in Paris recently.

The FlexoStars awards honour the best-printed flexographic job in France. It is organised by ATF Flexo (association technique française de la flexographie).
Palamy - BRJ bagged a golden award for printing on complex films using solvent ink for the product ‘Duo de Fromages Croustillants Prim’s’.
Patrick Proux, owner, Palamy - BRJ Group, said, “The Palamy - BRJ Group participates every year in FlexoStars competition and we are happy to have been awarded again, and this year with three awards. This professional recognition highlights the value and skills of our teams through the projects and the confidence our customers give us."
Palamy also bagged two silver awards, one for printing on non-retractable polyethylene films and non-retractable for the product Freshona mixed vegetables, and the other for printing on non-complex films except polyethylene for the product Petit Beurre Bio Chabrior.
RKW Castelletta and Constantia Jeanne d’Arc bagged a silver award each.
RKW Castelletta obtained a silver prize in retractable polyethylene films for the product Evian 12x33cl Kids Mickey Us.
Virginie Aulagne, sales manager, RKW Castelletta, said, “We are proud to participate in the ATF Congress and the FlexoStars awards every year. This special moment allows us to meet and interact with flexographic professionals. Once again, we had the pleasure of receiving a prize. This recognition values the work of the RKW teams and allows us to communicate with our customers.”
Constantia Jeanne d’Arc was awarded a silver prize in printing on aluminium for the product Beurre d’Isigny 250g ½ sel.
A total of 35 awards were presented at the event, out of which 15 were gold prizes, 10 silver; eight bronze; a jury award; and an award for innovation.
The winners were decided on the basis of criteria such as tracking and colour rendering, lineation, pressure, point definition, recoveries, the impact of images and ad hook, amongst others.
