TNPL invites tenders

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers (TNPL) has invited sealed bids for fabrication, erection, testing, inspection and commissioning of Income Based Repayment (IBR) steam piping and supports in board machine complex.

According to TNPL, the bidder should be a reputed IBR-approved contractor and have executed at least one single order of value not less than Rs 100-lakh in the past five years.
 
Interested bidders can purchase a complete set of bid document on submission of a written application to TNPL and on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 5000 by a banker’s cheque or demand draft in favour of “Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited”, payable at Karur, Tamil Nadu.
 
All bids must be delivered before 03:00 pm on 22 June 2015. Also technical bids will be opened at 04:00 pm on the same day in the presence of the bidder’s representative who choose to attend.
 
Today, TNPL owns and successfully operates a 4,00,000 tpa printing and writing paper mill at Kagithapuram, Tamil Nadu. TNPL plans to setup a 2,00,000 tpa multilayer paper board manufacturing unit at a new location in Trichy District, Tamil Nadu and bids for this project.

The company has informed all interested candidates to render the document cost of Rs 500 to submit along with the tender through demand draft.

The tender document can also be submitted at their Kagithapuram, Karur office.

TNPL was established by the government of Tamil Nadu in early 1980’s to produce newsprint and printing and writing paper.
