A major newspaper from Punjab has placed a repeat order for an Orient X-Cel (36,000cph) press consisting five 4Hi towers and five auto reel changers. The line is fully automated and equipped with automatic colour register system from QI Press Controls.
Four newspaper publishers in eastern and central India have placed orders for new Orient Presses. All the presses are Orient Super (30,000cph) and capable of printing 16 page colour newspaper. Among the orders, the company also reported that three of the new customers of TPH have established their first print facility by ordering an Orient press. TPH is elated that these customers have chosen to setup presses of 16-pages each at the start of their independent print operations.
George Kuriakose, assistant general manager - sales, The Printers House said, “In addition to these new press orders, we are also pleased to announce several add-on press orders from our existing customers in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Kerala and Manipur. Almost all these orders are for add-on 4 Hi towers.”
Meanwhile, two Eastern India-based book publishers have reposed their confidence in TPH. Both the presses are Orient Super presses with 4Hi towers. Kuriakose also confirmed that they have received multiple orders from the book printers and publishers.
Likewise many book printers have made a transition from sheetfed to web offset press to meet their high volume print requirement of books. Kuriakose, said, "TPH is continuously receiving orders from book printers from all over India. Furthermore, we have just shipped three-lines of Orient Super with a cut-off 560 mm to our overseas customers. Each line is equipped with a quarter folder and all these presses should be operational by the year-end."
