Tushar Bhotica, president of the Bombay Master Printers' Association (BMPA), addressed delegates at Print Summit 2025 with an energising mantra: "Be Unstoppable."

Opening the Print Summit 2025, Bhotica emphasised the need for perseverance, strategic reflection, and sustainability in the ever-evolving printing and packaging sectors.

Welcoming participants, Bhotica said, "At the outset, let me thank you for being a part of Print Summit 2025. I assure you that your experience here will be enriching, inspiring, and worth your time." He highlighted the relentless efforts of the BMPA team in curating a conference that not only informs but also inspires, year after year.

Expanding on the Summit’s theme, Bhotica described it as more than just a call to action, but a guiding philosophy. He cited the lines of celebrated poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, popularised by actor Amitabh Bachchan in the film Agneepath: "Tū na thakegā kabhī, tū na thamegā kabhī, tū na mudegā kabhī."

"These lines inspire us to persevere without faltering, embodying what it means to ‘Be Unstoppable,’" he added. Bhotica also underscored the importance of strategic pauses, likening them to the archer’s pullback before a powerful shot, as a necessary preparation for greater achievements.

Bhotica stressed the importance of sustainable practices, linking them to the long-term health of the industry and the planet. He remarked, "Progress loses its value when achieved at the cost of integrity and moral values. We must pause to consider the impact of our actions on society, the environment, and future generations."

Drawing on an anecdote, he recalled a conversation between a printer and a veteran in the field,"Even the best presses, like the Koenig and Bauer, pause to cool down. That’s why they are built to ‘Be Unstoppable.’"

Bhotica connected the timing of the Summit with Uttarayana and Makar Sankranti, festivals marking the Sun’s northward journey—a symbol of renewal and progress. He remarked, "Solar energy offers a fitting metaphor for our theme. Sustainable practices, such as solar power, remind us of our responsibility to create a brighter, unstoppable future for our industry."

As he concluded his address, Bhotica urged delegates to embrace resilience and innovation in their businesses. "Move forward with focus and determination, without distraction, with dedication, integrity, and resilience. This encapsulates the essence of being unstoppable," he said.

With these words, Tushar Bhotica set a bold and inspiring tone for Print Summit 2025, encouraging the industry to adapt, innovate, and thrive while keeping sustainability at the forefront.
