Uma Digital invests in Ricoh

Pune-based Uma Digital has recently invested in a Ricoh Pro C7200 digital production printer. The machine was supplied and installed by Minosha India.

Dattatraya Kulkarni of Uma Digital said, the company decided to invest in the Ricoh kit for its quality. “We love Ricoh products, as we have been using Ricoh for more than 12 years,” he said.

He added that the company decided to with Minosha India because of its after-sales services. “Minosha India's engineers well-trained, as they are working for Ricoh for a long time,” Kulkarni said.  

The company has also invested in half-cutting and die-cutting machines. “With these investments, we are now offering gloss, matt, semi-gloss colour print options to our customers,” Kulkarni said.

Uma Digital, run by Dattatraya Kulkarni and Uma Kulkarni, has been in the digital printing business for the last 12 years. The company caters to publishers, ad agencies, freelancers, and pharma, food and engineering companies from its 1,500-sqft shopfloor.

Kulkarni concluded, “With the new machine, we have increased our production volume with fast services to our customers.”
