Umang of Adobe bags business leader award from <i>The Economic Times</i>
Umang Bedi, the managing director, Adobe South Asia, was awarded the prestigious The Economic Times ‘40 under Forty’ India’s Hottest Business Leaders Award 2014 award by The Economic Times and Spencer Stuart at an award ceremony organised at the Four Seasons hotel in Mumbai.

On the occasion, Bedi said, “This recognition is truly an honour and I thank The Economic Times, Spencer Stuart and the esteemed jury members for this award. I am humbled to be named amongst such innovative and intellectual business leaders. I dedicate this award to the employees of Adobe’s India business who have contributed to my success and the success of the company.”
Umang was felicitated by Deepak Parekh, chairman, HDFC, who was also the chair of the jury. The other members of the jury were Anjali Bansal, managing director, Spencer Stuart India; Subodh Bhargava, chairman, Tata Communications; Sanjeev Bikhchandani, chief executive officer and co-founder, Info Edge India; Harish Manwani, chief operating officer, Unilever; D Shivakumar, chairman and chief executive officer, PepsiCo India and Janmejaya Sinha, chairman, Boston Consulting Group, Asia Pacific.
Umang is responsible for Adobe’s business operations - growing the sales and marketing functions, driving strategic partnerships and alliances, expanding the channel partner ecosystem and driving cloud services opportunities within the enterprise, government, education and SMB sector in the South Asia region.
The felicitation ceremony also saw the launch of a report showcasing the winners and their contribution. The report was unveiled by Vinod Mahanta, chief editor, Corporate Dossier, The Economic Times.
